This is going off the rails:

WTF? Black Lives Matter chanting 'Liberalism is White Supremacy' while shouting down the ACLU for defending HITLER? Vilifying the very people that consistently come to their defense?

This is an unreasoning, flesh-eating organism eating itself! I personally have become more and more suspicious of BLM's logic and motives, but now THIS? It's scary when a movement seeks to alienate itself from even what would seem to be its allies (perhaps there are factors involved of which I am unaware).

Again: WTF? There are Democrats, there is The Left, there is The Radical Left, and then there is this. Once again: WTF?

William and Mary is in Virginia, which is still reeling from the White Nationalist assault on Charlottesville (which, to be fair, was exacerbated by out-of-state counterdemonstrators fully willing to ignore the law in response). The Charlottesville City Council belatedly tried to switch the White Nationalist demonstration to a less-contentious and more isolated location and the ACLU blocked that with a legal suit. So, the ACLU wasn't pleasing the Black Lives Matter element of the Charlottesville events. (Of course the ACLU later declared it wouldn't represent White Nationalists in anything else again).

But, yeah, the BLM movement doesn't bother with trying to be objective about anything--and the ACLU does try to be objective. So, the two don't match up perfectly.

They seem to share a kinship with Antifa - they don't match up with anything reasonable.

They are justifiably angry over endemic threat. That's not likely to result in objectivity in the short term. It's a justifiable reaction, though, given the lack of attention/sensitivity to the issues short of this level of reaction.

Not a lot of objectivity on the left lately. They seem disconnected from everyday working Americans. I work in the trades, and about 95% of my fellow tradesmen, of varying ethnicities, voted Trump. Democrats are the party of elitists and celebrities, unlike the days of Jimmy Carter. Now the Weinstein scandal further puts their hypocrisy in the spotlight. Anderson Cooper was quick to press the President on grabbing women by the pussy, but where is the in depth investigation on the Hollywood mogul pressuring actresses into quid pro quo sex for stardom situations?! Nowhere, because that sick fuck donates millions to the DNC, buying their silence and compliance. Ashley Judd ranted and raved against the President, but the people who "share" her political views are sheltering the creep who sexually harassed/abused her, and numerous other actresses. Then he give a half-hearted Mia culpa, which was basically summed up as "WTF, I have been doing this for years, and you all have been fine with it until now." Disgusting! Democratic office-holders, and not even all of them he donated to, are re-donating a portion of the money he donated to "charitable organizations" that support the DNC. For all the demands to be harsh on cops who show the slightest misconduct, Hollywood and the DNC sure are circling the wagons around this habitual sexual predator. Huh, next time a Democrat tells me that they are all about protecting the interests of women, I can easily come back with not from scumbags like Harvey Weinstein.

In Virginia, we respect women. On our State Flag, there is a warrior woman standing, victorious, over a fallen tyrant and his broken crown. Sic Semper Tyrannis!

Also, the left are not interested in building anybody up, because if you are no longer an oppressed victim, then why would you pay attention to a party that panders to such people? No, they only want to tear down history, and rewrite the parts they disagree with. Why are there not more statues commemorating the case of Mr & Mrs Loving? That is a Heroic story of love against all odds. A case that went all the way up to the US Supreme Court, that made interracial marriage legal. But no, that would be something to unite people, which is diametrically opposite of the let's narrative about how divided we are.

Now, this is about the point where certain readers will accuse me of being racist, sexist, etc. But, consider this. I am a US Army veteran, having served with men and women of all ethnicities in the most diverse organizations that strictly practices and enforces Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action policies. Also, I spent the first 8 years of my adult life, serving next to those brave soldiers fighting in a war THAT IS STILL GOING ON, while everybody else is going on with their day to day lives like nothing is amiss. Do you see how our enemies treat their women?! No education, no rights, enslaved, beaten, raped, mutilated, and honor killings. Those sick fucks want to bring that shit to the bastions of western civilization, but thankfully there are those of us who will stand and fight. Not just women, but gays are oppressed, and outright slaughtered by our enemies. We don't tolerate that shit either! We fought for all our brothers & sisters, straight & gay. And now, here at home, there are armed and masked mobs, using violence to try and push their ideals on the rest of us. Not in my town! The RPD enforced state laws against wearing of masks in public, and after fewer than ten arrests, the rest decided they didn't want none! These outside agitators need to learn not to come to my state and cause trouble! Things here may not be perfect, but they are better than in a lot of other states.

Of course Gups aren't elitists or celebs, merely hard-working corporate leaders looking forward to their massive tax breaks and reduced social responsibility. Umm, you realize Tromp has a star on Hollywood Blvd, right? And for years had a TV show where he played a competent billionaire, ignoring his multiple bankruptcies, defaults, and bailouts.

Yeah, the tradespeople and left-behinds of America can be confident their nation will be saved from elitists and celebs by following an elitist celeb luzer who can't get the party he supposedly heads to do anything he wants. Way to go, kids!
