I am

Most definately, I don't think I could have a relationship if it didn't include romance. I enjoy surprising her with flowers when she's least expecting it, or telling her that we've been booked into a fancy hotel that morning.

Giving her a day off from any household chores, by doing them myself. God I could go on and on, but suffice it to say yes romance is the perfect way to show her how much you care.

I'm an expert on massage oils and scented candles, I can skillfully massage any body part, and I give dozens of roses at the slightest provocation.

I was on a date last spring and went to see Titanic. First date with this guy. I was crying for the fourth time. A lady behind us was crying (not exactly quietly) and he looks at me and said "What's she crying for, it's a war movie, somebody has to die." Needless to say, it was our only date.

The most romantic things a guy can do for me though aren't the "typical" flowers, opening the door type stuff though. Just listening to me, remembering to ask me about one of my students, showing me that i'm important are the truly romantic things.

I've always thought of romance as the little things in this world...but there are alot of little things you can do for someone that aren't romantic...

I'm not so sure it's how well you massage or how much you love to cuddle...i think of romance as being this thing..this really deep feeling that you have with someone and at that moment, you know that whatever you do is perfectly fine as long as you are WITH that person.

where does the hopeless come in? being a hopeless romantic, to me, is someone who feels that no matter what obstacle stands in the way of romance...it can and will be overcome....aka the opposite of a realist.

then again..i'm the best cuddler this side of the Mississippi River..so i'm told
