Are you a reflection of your friends? Or they of you?

This only works if you know who your friends are. I think most of us go through life without any idea of who are real friends are.

Show me you friends and I'll tell you what sort of people you like.

Count me in as one of yours, Cat.

Reflect on me, if you like.

Your funloving nature and cheerfulness, has been matured with remarkable restraint, as well. (proud of you chicky)

Oh certainly. I just don't think it's such a magical insight as it could be.

      ... mind you, I'm a cynical bastard.

This upsets me. I hope I am not a reflection of some of my friends. I think they are self centered. They don't really care about anyone else other then themselves. They rush like stress mongers missing out on some of the simple beautys of life.

*cough*

Most of my friends don't know each other in one Big group

They might know Demian...or others might know me az Demian...but I don't think they know that they all know me at the same Time

But I usually tend to be Demian

Wut if you had certain friends who wouldn't care for other of your friends?

I try to know most people...but stand against those who think it's cool to make the world feel unsafe...I struggle to be Better

But my friends...I wish I could bring most of you There

Always
Demian:rose:

Is this guilt by association? I always prided myself on having a large assortment of associates and friends from all walks of life. You would have a hard time cat agorizing me by my associations alone.

Unless I am schitzophrenic.
:p

I'll bet you liked Officer and a Gentleman

But

Have you ever seen If You Want Blood, You Got It?

I just saw Waking Life for the first time...I have friends I'd share it with, and some I would not

Demian:cool:

I don't know ... I have a very distinct array of friends. We are so different in personalities, attitudes, careers , and interests.

Even though we have such differences we get along so well. We do have some things in common but we are not mirror images of one another. I like that we are different , its adds more to our friendship and we bounce ideas off each other in such good ways.

So I would have to say I am not a reflection of my friends and visa versa... :)

I have not seen either. I know not all of my friends like all the things I like. I have very strange and varied likes in music, for instance, but I would not expect my friends to like it all.

Having a varied group of friends keeps life interesting.

Officer and a gentleman was OK, but a little schmaltzy, actually.

:D

I don't know. When I introduce my friends to people (at my wedding for instance) they always say "Wow, you have great friends," like they're shocked and then they look at me diffrently.

And I'm thinking, why do you sound shocked? Am I not the kind of person who should have great friends? lol

But I think they are a reflection on me, but each in a different way. If I reflect on them, well, I'm their friend reflecting on them, so isn't that the same. Do I need sleep?
