Are you a natural red head?

I hate that question. Yes I'm a natural red head, so? What's the big deal? I've often found men have a thing for red hair but I've never understood it. I know everyone has prefernces but why do reds stand out?

Or do they? Is it just because I am a red that I notice it?

I love redheads.
Couldn't tell you why but there's just something about red hair that turns my crank.

Red heads are the ones you gotta watch out for...

I even get the "is it natural" question from hair stylists. I feel like telling them, "if you can't tell you must not be very good at your job"

I dated a red head many moons ago. I remember she tasted like butterscotch. And then she broke my heart. I don't look at red heads the same way, but I do have this unexplainable craving for butterscotch.

I used to be an unnatural redhead for awhile, but everyone thought it was natural because I have pale skin and green eyes. Now it's grown to my natural dark-brown-with-weird-black-highlights-color.

I dye mine.. and the current guy I"m into, took a really close look the other day, and said, "what color is your hair - it's really red, isn't it?"

turns out he's red green color blind.

gotta love it.

Why aren't they called Orangeheads?

Because my hair isn't orange. Pyper you would look hot in red.

Fireguy, I taste nothing like butterscotch. lol But I do like the pudding.

Mine's natural and I get that question a lot, also.

Then come the comments about reds in beds.
Songs like "Red Headed Woman" kinda add to that thinking.
But I can't say that I've ever complained about that.

Who was it that sang that song? Can't believe I can't remember.

I was red for years, and got lots of compliments. But I thought it made my skin look sallow (plus it was majorly expensive) so I let it grow out.

Now I get compliments for the contrast between my dark hair and pale eyes. :D

Society uses hair color to overlay personality characteristics on people, especially women.

I think redheads become outspoken or obnoxious, for example, because of the stereotype...obviously hair color alone can't be the reason.

Blonde women have a special allure apparently because of the number of hair strands per square inch...blonde is the finest in texture.

Coupled with the hair color's natural softness (due to its fineness) and natural ability to reflect light, blondes are more "touchable" and hence more alluring sexually.

After blonde, brunettes, then redheads then black haired people have increasingly coarser hair.
