I am not famous, but I have met a few while working as booth bait for various businesses and organizations. A few were well known countrywide, or worldwide. Others are local, or just well known, and currently sharing intimacy with the wife of a very well known pastor of a mega church in the Bay Area.

It is sordid, but it is why I love it.

Mark Harmon had (maybe still does) a summer home near the tiny rural town I grew up in.

The first time I met him a bunch of women were fawning over him in the grocery store line. I had no idea who he was. I was just a teenager but felt bad for the guy, it really over the top, he was just trying to buy groceries.

Decades later I ran into him during the production of the pilot episode for NCIS: New Orleans. Dude remembered who I was and dropped some line like, "Thanks for not making a big deal out of it."

I was dating a woman who managed a restaurant that the production used quite a bit. They'd make these insane $8,000 to $12,000 takeout orders and send a PA to pick them up. They must have liked it because occasionally cast members would show up for in-person dining. My favorite was this PA that always tried to use his connection to the TV show to pick up ladies at the bar. I never once saw him succeed at getting a number, much less a hookup, but he never stopped trying, lol.

Never got to meet Scott Bakula but my GF surprised me one birthday with a Star Trek: Enterprise poster she got him to sign.

My late wife went to Franklin High School, Seattle, and 2 grades behind her was Gary Locke. Governor of Washington state. Secretary of Commerce, under Obama. United States Ambassador to China, under Obama. Since he attended her funeral on August 19th, I'd guess you could say we know someone famous.

There are a few celebrities I wouldn’t be surprised to find have active accounts here. David Harbour is the most recent to be publicly outed for his indecent behaviour, the newest “Sex Addict” we’re supposed to hate.

If we’re talking internet famous, there’s a current scandal taking place on TikTok of a real life father/adult daughter duo who make “normal” videos together - well, the father was outed as a Literotica author who, you guessed it, was writing Incest stories. The public reaction has not been the best

So I’m sure there are a fair few “internet famous” people here as well.

I don't know any famous people and I'm totally fine with it. I think fame is toxic to one's mental health. Famous people suffer higher rates of anxiety, depression, and suicide. ..And many of them are insufferable because of their oversized ego and self-importance.

Yep... having lots of money would be great, but the other aspects of fame - eg., attracting attention everywhere you go, distrusting new acquaintances, being constantly asked for money, etc.. - would totally suck.

Come to think of it, I totally LOVE not being famous...
