Are women turned on by men in speedos?

I once attended the men's beach volleyball in hopes of seeing men in speedos... the women's beach volleyball official uniform is a bikini, but all the men were wearing boardies. :( It was still a good game, I was surprised by how much I was taken up by the athleticism of the men. :) I couldn't fathom why they weren't wearing just speedos, though - I would have thought they'd be more comfortable. Perhaps it's just the uniform.

No and no. Speedos reminds me of my childhood best friend's dad coz he always wore speedos when he took us swimming. He was Scottish, quite hairy and used to do impressions of fat bastard from Austin Powers. A really nice guy, but definately not attractive and whenever a see a guy in speedos I think of him.

G-strings don't do anything for me. Especially if they are satin or brightly coloured; then they're off putting.
 
Curious. Why do women not like men in speedos or bikini underwear (assuming that they ARE in good shape and not fat and sloppy). I see women going all ape shit for guys with six pack abs and nice arms and legs, you'd think they'd like seeing a good shot of their package, even if only contained in cloth. I've always thought it was odd. Men (at least me) like seeing women with as little clothing as possible, preferably totally completely naked, with their crotch spread in their face, yet women don't. Why is that?

I liked that story :), he sounds HOT.

I'm not that into speedos, I have neutral feelings towards them and I imagine it depends entirely on the man wearing them, when people are comfortable in what they're wearing it seems like what they're wearing becomes irrelevant.
Sorry that was a very non-answer. I guess I'm saying speedos are okay but they aren't and item of clothing I would think 'damn I really need to see a man in some speedos right now' about...I'll stop or I'm just going to ramble.


ETA, what I DON'T think about them is that they are an exclusive piece of clothing that only buff guys should wear, that's like saying only skinny models should wear bikinis. If only 'attractive' people showed their bodies and 'packages' then it just supports weird ideas about what's attractive/what isn't that are rife in our society.

My husband looks fantastic in skimpy underwear (he's in great shape), and I would assume he would also look great in a speedo. I bought him a really sexy retro pair of trunks for the beach this year--not as small as a speedo, but they certainly show off the goods! ;) A thong though, I would not go for.

I dont care how attractive/in good shape he is, I don't want a good shot of any man's package unless I intend on sucking on that package. Even then, I don't want him to be walking around in public in speedos. I would much rather see a man in board shorts. I find board shorts to be extremely sexy on a man.

As for women and what they wear, you are comparing apples to oranges. I like seeing them with or without clothing as well. But the female body is much more sensual to look upon. It's kind of like I have no desire to watch a male stripper, but let a female strip for me and I find it very arousing.
 
Having spent all of my life in a coastal town and more than too much time on the beach, most men simply cannot or should not wear them. Having said that, I will be the first one to admit I can not wear a two piece. If I go to the beach in anything less than a one piece I deserve to be arrested for public indecency. Some folks, men and women have no shame I guess. Now if he was a totally gorgeous guy and had a nice outline, would I sneek a peek? Yup. I would be discreet mind you.
 
Speedo? Nah...

I prefer a nice pair of board shorts with a thick cock outline rising from the center.

Although, if a guy must wear a speedo, he'd better have the package to carry it. A tiny bathing suit can either emphasize a big size, or just point out a small one.

Almost any guy can wear Speedos: they are a conventional brand of swimwear after all. For guys who have a good body, Aussiebum is now the brand of choice.
 
I prefer see men in boxers or shorts or nothing at all but I am not a fan of speedos

Because women need to know how good the rest of the body is. A dick needs something to make it move. it's not going to get inside her and do the job, all by itself.

I don't know why men are so ready to forget that there's an entire person attached to that pussy.
