Just asking...

Have you ever been taken in by those doomsayers saying we are going to die horribly by whatever method on a given date?

Planet X.. really:rolleyes:

You mean someone who believes in an unknown, all seeing being predicted something and it didn't come true? Say it ain't so!

Yeah I heard something about that. Minus my seriously bitchy migraine that is still not all the way gone, I don't think I feel dead. And if I was dead, I don't think the migraine would hurt.

So no I'm going to have to say I am not dead.

I repented just in case.

Now I'm going to go back to sinning, since evidently the catastrophe was averted.

I have my roll of quarters, for the vending machines when we get there. And new track shoes.

Unfortunately, I've been hovering over Purgatory today since I've been using Tampax like crazy. Oh well. Can't complain. It's part of having woman parts.

I wish it would just happen and be done with, if it is going to happen.

The day is not yet over so ARMAGEDDON is still possible but I carved a few extra gods yesterday just in case and they're keeping a close eye on stuff so don't worry, be Hopi.

I was tempted, but then they started urging me to lop off my nads and I just had to draw a line on that one...

You mean, you still have your "nads"??? Strange. Every time I read your posts, I think to myself, "I wish this guy would grow a pair."

I keep forgetting what a fertile field of atheist, agnostics & pagans that Literotica normally is.

Some of you at least here, seem relatively happy and content with life and at peace with the world.

Others...well I hope the inside person is not reflected by what I see what you write here.

I having lived most of my life with several stunning and sometimes hair raising encounters (I'm using this word to throw a net over what I don't have words to use) with God's um...Angels...Henchmen...Helpers?.

I had faith in the belief of God before I became a Christian. There is nothing like paying attention to the world around you and figuring out that there is more to it than is seen and explainable by man.

Starting to sort out the hoopla of what is likely and what is not is a journey for some is life long and unattainable.

Without faith and sometimes a decoration of faith which you have to have it is almost impossible stay the path.

The nay Sayers and mockers are like an infestation of roaches and the forces behind them are invisible and mighty and able to distract, derail and sap the will if ones faith is not solid.

Basically what I am saying is please stop wasting my time and yours. To you I am a lost cause and a source of scorn and amusement.

To me you are a bunch of poor deluded souls that simply don't know any better or care, meeting where we have common ground or subjects.

And you LOVE to hijack threads!

Sanctimonious condescending judgmentalism does not help your cause. If indeed casting your "pearls" among the "heathens" is your cause.

Did you expect a serious discussion about the doomsayers of the world?

Well it kinda made the news...again. I almost missed it. Mainly because while I take an interest in such things, they are like reading informational road signs I am not worried about it.

Period.

I don't have a "Cause" here. If we were standing talking and I saw a car speeding up behind you to fast to stop I would say something about it because you would be unaware. What you do after that is your ass.

I have actually walked into a bar ordered a drink turned and ask if they always have cars burning in the parking lot?

But I didn't have a "Cause" to save cars.

Being the sinner that I am, I shy away from "Judging" people. If I am required to I do my very best to do it reasonably, fairly and with compassion.

If you were guilty of Heinous crimes you would NOT want me as Judge or Jury because a fair trial would be the last thing you would want.

Also I have and have had my share of friends that are atheist, agnostics & pagans.(and some that can't seem to make up their mind What they are!) but that doesn't mean that they are not good people...it just means that their morals change in an unpredictable manner. I am often surprised at their take on matters ( and the things they do) as I am sure they are on mine. Sometimes we agree on something arriving there from completely different viewpoints and reasons.

Some people around here I have noticed (in past times) shouldn't throw rocks shaped like boomerangs.
