Are we able to re-edit our story once the story has been published? If so how do we go about getting the story in edit mode again? Or can we delete what has been posted and then re-post the story again?

Edit a story by submitting it again but with the word edit added to the title and an explanation why you are submitting an edit in the notes.

As regards deleting so you can submit again as a longer story. I did this recently. I added edit to the title, submitted it as a new story, and in the notes wrote that I wanted it deleted because I intended submitting a new and longer story with the original forming part of the new one.

Takes about a week for either to go through the system.

Deleting a story removes all its votes and comments. Resubmitting a fixed version with EDIT in the title keeps its history. IMHO if your changes are substantial, it's a new story; maybe keep the old take for historical purposes.
