Are tights sexy?

Do people think tights are sexy? Or do you prefer thigh-highs?

I am dressing up as a japanese schoolgirl for a convention, and I hate wearing thigh-highs for more than a couple of hours because they never fit right and even with a garter, they slip down.

So, I thought I might do tights.. but.. I am not sure if that is sexy or not?

Just trying to get a general consensus.

I think it depends on the who is wearing them and the outfit as a whole. I do find something incredibly sexy about ripping/tearing a pair of tights off a girl in a playful way.

Thigh high works well with schoolgirl, though. Have you considered knee socks as a more comfortable alternative?

I think I might just go for knee-high's, I didn't really think about those but they may work even better and not be the hassle thigh-highs are.
