People exist. There are quite a few that aren't looking for r/l stuff though, which makes the Personals a bit more of a cyber-playground than a r/l meeting place.

Not to mention the geography issues (hmmm well I guess I did just mention them, didn't I?). Definitely challenging to use this site for real life meetings unless you are in a major metropolitan area.

That is absolutely the truth. I've had a couple of positive meetings off of lit, though. I actually had a relationship with one person, in real life, and became good friends with another person, also in real life. It is possible, just difficult.

Ok, thanks for the thoughts.

Personally I've always viewed it as being an even more fantasy-filled area than the main pages and your percentage likelihood of actually meeting anyone genuine probably approaches zero.
