As someone who is often considered a Daddy, I think the key to any Dom/sub relationship is trust and understanding. A Daddy, almost by definition, is caring and spoils his girl by trying to meet her needs. If she needs gentle and kind, he is gentle and kind. If she needs (and I'm referring to her true felt need, not his opinion) something more forceful, he provides that.
