Are Stupid People Really Happier?

Just asking. I'm doing some business today with someone who just isn't all that bright, and he seems perfectly happy about it.

Sort of like those people you see on "Jay-walking" or that rip-off game show where ordinary people fuck up answers to questions like "Is salt a spice or a vegetable?" and then giggle when they get it wrong.

Or the people who shrug when you point out things like "Africa is not a country" and "Other planets have moons, too" and show no concern than their knoweldge of the world isn't that much broader than the gap between their teeth.

Or the kids who've decided at 14 that they've learned all they'll even need to know in life, and then move onto an animated conversation about the new "Hellraiser" movie or think it wouldn't be any "big deal" if they got pregnant.

Stupid people.

Anyways, I figured he could be a truckdriver and he and I could do it in the cab of his Peterbilt truck. For the record, in case you haven't seen my picture, I'm 5'7, 105 lbs. Blond heair blue eyes and 38-22-36. Feel free to use your own aritistic license, but please don't deviate from the way I've outlined it.

I wouldn't think that stupid people are happier, but probably happy people probably do more stupid things.

I like stupid behavior. I watch it everyday. And I bet that I seriously examine all of my behavior in a 24 hour period, I will find some stupidity.

And more often than not, I am either enjoying myself or laughing (or at least will be later).

Sometimes we do some pretty stupid things that piss us off and make us angry (or others). But far more often than not, in hindsight, we are able to laugh at it all. While the anger passes, the beauty of stupidity endures.
