Do some categories get more hits than others?

Which ones do you think are most often read? It seems like "Humor/Satire" doesn't get many readers.

Are some difficult to please? Once I had someone tell me to never post a "Loving Wives" story. They had something uncomplimentary to say about the 'folks' there??? I don't want to stir anything up but was wondering about what category to put a particular story in.

Any advice would be appreciated.

I seem to recall someone saying that Incest/taboo gets the most hits.

The thing about loving wives is that it seems that most readers in that category don't actually like the idea of loving wives.

Incest tops the readership, by far.

Loving Wives is probably not far behind, but the aforementioned commenters can be too much for many authors to handle. There's some serious vitriol to the commenters there.

Anal, Romance, Erotic Couplings, Group Sex, Lesbian Sex, etc all seem to fall in the middle.

Sci-Fi/Fantasy, Humor, Novels and Novellas, and chain stories are all toward the bottom of the readership numbers.

You can look at the toplists and get some general idea of where most readers go from the number of views ( on the most read toplist - almost all incest ) or the number of votes ( on the scoring toplists )

I'm sure others will have more info about the cats that I haven't ventured into yet.

Choosing a cat isn't easy sometimes, and it doesn't always stick ( the site moderators will sometimes change the category if they feel something fits another category better )
