Abolutely horrible mistake. We all feel terrible. It shouldn't have happened.

But..

It's silly to equate "Americans hate those meanies so much!" with what happened the other day. That's belittling what the Canadians were fighting for in the first place. Friendly fire kills in every war. Every country has experienced it. Even Canada.
