Erotic Poetry - Perverse Boots / Arden
Illustrated Poetry - what if / 03sp
Non-Erotic Poetry - Dark Feel in Yellow Skin / Cordelia
Poetry With Audio - a digital tape / 03sp

Is April a great month or what? I think it's the first time I agree with all four choices and can happily congratulate the nominees. :D

Excellent poems, everyone.

Whoa!

How'd that happen?

How does one even get on this list?

I am flabbergasted.

Cordelia

Well Cordie, it is an excellent poem for starters. I always thought it was based on views and votes, but who knows....

03sp emptied out his account of poetry. Does he still count? Does anyone even know why he did it?

Hiya Muff

I don't know why his poems are gone :(, but I'm assuming that since his stuff was here during the time he was nominated for, the nomination is still legit, right?

And how are winner/nominees selected? (I bet you know :))

Actually, I don't think they count anymore, which is a shame.

If the poems were deleted, no one can vote for them, so they can't win any award.

I want my sp poems back!

If so, yes....

And I love your new AV. Do those ruffles get in the way when you kick? :D

The deciding factor are votes, of course. From all poems submitted in April, these were the ones that got the best average from the day they were posted to May 15th in each category.

At the end of the year there are 12 poems selected and the top 4 or 5 will be elligible to win the award. That's when we vote for them like we did a few months ago, remember?

Thank you for the nomination!
Congratulations to all nominated.

There is a statement at the end of these submissions that resulted in the removal of my poems. (It was a doc.)

Please do not use a forum/board if you wish to reply to me.

While I agree with 03sp's assessment of the ads on Lit, I have to wonder - is he only just now noticing them? It not like they're new...

Yeah, ok, a mute point as he's not likely to respond here, nor will the thought likely change his mind...

Thanks everyone, I appreciate the nice thoughts... I didn't even know about this until today.

I'm a bit confused, though. I submitted a revision which was never posted, it reads much better than the original (thanks again, Eve, for your thoughts). Would I lose the scores if I pushed to get the revised version posted at this point? I'm almost embarassed to see the first draft today, when I know how it should appear...

Homer! How have you been? ;)

I'm with 03sp here
I thought this site was dedicated to turning litter into organic compost, and was shocked and disturbed when I discovered that was not the case.
When you expect compost and get pornpost the adjustment is difficult.
Having come to terms with the fact it was a site of the pornographic persuasion, the last thing I expected to see was images of naked men and women engaged in explicitly sexual acts.
If economic considerations make such images necessary, I expect them to be artistic, tasteful and educational &, as 03sp suggests, that is not always the case here.
I therefore am removing all such images of myself from the site and withdrawing permission for them to be used in major advertising campaigns.
More in sorrow than in anger.

Submit again like you would a new poem, but add the word "EDITED" to the title. For the parts in italic, use html tags:

Billie Holiday lends her honey tinged voice
posthumously through another

<i>You know that I love you
And what loving does</i>

will show as

Billie Holiday lends her honey tinged voice
posthumously through another

You know that I love you
And what loving does
