It's on the listing now. I occasionally have a delay like this before mine appear on the list too. Just commenting on such things on the forum won't get anything changed, though. You have to PM the Web site administrators directly.

It seems pretty clear that approvals are fluid and posting are quantized.

I seem to recall people complaining that brand new stories could not be accessed with the search feature. After a week or two (perhaps when the yellow N disappears) they are able to be located via search.

PM Manu to ask, but what's the rush? It should be listed under new stories on the first page, and as you said, people can find it via the author.

New stories don't all get released at the same time.

My last story showed up as approved, but didn't actually appear on the new page until later in the day.

One of my minor niggles is that the second or subsequent batch of stories in the same day don't go to the top of the new page. Instead they appear somewhere in the middle of the page later in the day. It's easy to miss them (probably a good thing for most of my stories given the subject matter)

I kept thinking that the search feature being unable to locate the new stories was a glitch with the new system and would soon be resolved.
