Approve/Deny problems

For some reason whenever I try to approve or deny a thread I get this message : Error querying: You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near 'AND t1.thread_id = '57243' GROUP BY t1.thread_id' at line 8

This is the first time this has ever happened to me. Does anyone know how I can fix this or why it is happening?

As has been mentioned in other threads, this problem can be alleviated by clicking on the Edit Thread link at the bottom. When you click the Edit Threads button on th edit form, the thread gets approved.

The problem with Chyoo is that Errors are rarely fixed, and the members just find ways to avoid them. It has always been the story.

What if you don't want to approve the thread?

My thought on that is report it and have the thread deleted. That is about what happens when you reject a thread anyway.

Looks to me like the thread you tried to add to one of my stories is already gone....THE SYSTEM WORKS!

All of his spam or racist threads have been deleted. He has one left that I've asked the editor if they want it removed. This one at least actually follows the story, though ends it.

Let me see if I understand this right. I haven't had any threads added to my stories for a while. the problem is... the link for approve threads no longer works? Or is it something with the options?

When you click the approve/deny button, instead of taking you to the appropriate page it gives an error.

I'm not even gonna bother to post my stories again. I posted both twice. I dunno what I'm doin wrong man..LOL.

The system DOES work... I've been happily purging my stories of these recent submissions with a terse "You suck" comment. And they disappear forever.
