Approval Process Question

I'm sure this is something that gets asked a lot, though I can't find much info relating to it in the FAQ or the forums.

What kind of delay can generally be expected on pending stories before they're approved, and are there ways to expedite the process by using more favorable formats or something?

I ask because I have a dozen stories currently queued, and it's been several days now with no new approvals. Half of the comments on my uploaded stories are "hey I wish you'd write more" or "I wish there was a sequel to this" and it's driving me crazy that they can't read everything yet, lol.

So I wanted to know if there was anything I could do on my end to speed things up, in terms of story length, formatting, file types, etc.
Right now I have all my stories in .odt and formatted like a traditional novel, if I were, for example, to upload them as .txt files formatted in the way Literotica seems to like them, would that shorten the wait time significantly, or is it just a question of the staff being too busy with other stories?

I'm a bit worried about my series being uploaded in a somewhat random order due to the wait time, and that the character limit on the descriptions really prohibits me from delivering any disclaimers or information concerning their placement.

Look closely in your submittals area, click every link. Responses from the site editor are buried, easy to miss. More than 2 or 3 days uaually mean a rejection, that you didn't see.

The site design is amateurish and terrible, but you'll eventually learn (have no choice) to work around the 1997 high school senior class project level of web design. Just the way it is.

The authors hangout is where you'll find help interpreting the instructions and rules. 1997 remedial English class on technical writing there. 1997 was apparently a good year for the site owners.
