It is the aftermath of World War 3. The super-powers of the world declared war on each other in an attempt to control the dwindling fossil resources of the world. Armies of regular soldiers, conscripts, and mercenaries from all sides went into the front lines. Sabotours and assassins went in behind the lines. The war went on.

And on, and on, and on.

There was no victor.

In the end, a new city was constructed with one purpose - to be the new world government. That city was called Olympus. It's population is comprised of approxomatly 50% humans, and 50% bioroids, and all it's systems are run by a supercomputer called Gaia. It is from here that the human race attempts to salvage it's future.

But even in this supposed paradise, with all it's wanders and social order, there is still dissent within the city. Terrorists occasionally strike against the bioroid govenment, causing the cities premier defence force, the police outfit E.S.W.A.T to hunt them down.

And outside, across the globe, small pockets of soldiers fight in a non-existant war...

It was late. Rain was pouring down, and her car wouldn't start. Three things to make a mood foul. Susan Thresher, officer in the E.SWAT organisation, walked down side alleys, hoping to make her way back to her apartment in good time, all the while getting soaked by the downpour.

She didn't normally go this route, and was pleasantly supprised when she found a building with welcoming lights still on, and a large neon sign with "House of the Gods" on it. Sighing to herself, and reasoning that it would be a break from the rain, she stepped inside...

Xeno had just gotten off his duty shift at ESWAT. No action today, so he didn't know what he was truly capable of. He knew he was different from most of the others, but he had never fully tested his ability. He walked into House of the Gods, planning on getting something to take his mind off his troubles. He sat down at a table, looking up and seeing one of his fellow officers walk in. She wasn't the sort he expected to see in a club of this nature.
