Launched by a non-profit making organisation who had a successful similar twitter campaign during the SuperBowl.

Now if only I understood the least thing about apps and mobile phones! Oh dear, just put it in the pocket of your frilly apron and hope the signal is working, dahlink. The only time my kid fell over and the school called us, the network coverage for my phone was down all day and the Fella had to come back from work to inspect her bloody tooth. Luckily I stayed out so long that instead of being cross he was worried by the time I got back. I was like, "but dahlink, why did you not phone the wifi cafe where everyone knows I hang out all day tootling on my netbook?"

the new app will allow people to identify, photograph, map, and share sexist advertisements with a community of equally outraged people. The app will give users the ability to share images, see what others are sharing, rate the content, and communicate with the companies directly through Twitter. In other words, it will kind of be like a centralized, peer-reviewed, crowd-sourced complaint department for all companies that boldly continue to use sexism to sell their products.
