Aphrodite's Exchange Palace (open, OOC inside)
IC: Aphrodite: "Hephaestus." She looked over at her husband hammering away at piece of metal.
'Yes dear?" The god shifted some weight onto his good leg as he lifted up the hot metal with his hand and eyed the edge of it.
Aphrodite took a moment to wonder what he was crafting, she had hopped he could take away the feelings of melancholy she was having. "I don't... I am..." She stopped and considered what to say. "I have nothing to do?"
'Why not check our temples for sacrifices or answer a few prayers.' She looked displeased at her husband. He was always wrapped up in his work and hardly did anything else, so he hadn't looked at the world in two thousand years, only taking a minor interest in the rise and fall of Rome.
"Honey, we stopped receiving sacrifices years ago." She wiped the sweat from her brow, it was quite warm in the shop.
Hephaestus stopped his hammering looked at his wife puzzled for moment and then went back to his project. 'Hmm, so what your telling me is that you are board.'
"No, I just don't have anything to do." As the goddess of love Aphrodite was above the human feeling of boredom, even if that was what she was feeling.
Hephaestus set down his hammer and looked annoyed at the wall. 'Well I am not sure what I can do about it, I already made you that palace you wanted.' He then turned to his wife. 'Why not amuse your self with some mortals or something.'
Aphrodite walked out of the shop, a bit bothered that she was still feeling board, but she would use her husband's suggestion, and see if things improved.
