I'm doing a little research on aphrodisiacs for a story. Wondering if anyone's ever tried any and what might actually work. In the story, my character will need some sort of an essential oil or liquid meant to arouse, preferably something either exotic or scientific. :catroar:

I make an infusion used for massage with Ginger, Tumeric, Basil, Avocado, Sweet Almond oil, kukui nut oil, fragrant monoi floral oil and coconut oil.

Heavenly :cathappy:

Aromatherapy is a known form of herbal and folk medicine. Essential oils (EO) also have spiritual and religious uses. Cardamon, ylang ylang, clary sage, ginger, jasmine, juniper, patchouli, rose, sandalwood and neroli are supposed powerful aphrodisiac essential oils. A good blend might be rose, patchouli and sandalwood. Going easy on the rose for that blend would make it a unisex scent. To apply directly to the skin as in massage, you need to add drops of EO to a carrier oil, such as apricot, sweet almond and grape seed because pure EOs can/will irritate your skin. You may also a add drops of EO in carrier oil to a bath or EO in an aromatherapy diffuser.

Muscles, Money and Ferrari's work well on women, I've noticed. :)

Sounds amazing. You should really open your own spa. :D

Thanks a bunch. Now that I've got this figured out a bit better. I think the oil will have to be something that can be used with beeswax to be made into a candle. I'm sure these things would probably work that way as well.
