Aphrodisia Ch. 06: Help! I'm sinking into the smelly swamp of writers block!

So i've hit a roadblock with my story Aphrodisia. I can't get into the swing of writing the start of chapter six and after several attempts i'm still sat staring at a blank page. I'm well and truly immersed in writers block. Plot-wise I know exactly where i'm going but when it comes to actually putting fingertips to keyboard it seems i've lost something. I requested feedback after chapter 2 and some people on here much more knowledgable than myself were nice enough to help me out with it.

So in an effort to get back into the swing of things I'd like to hear from people and maybe get some feedback and discussion about what i've done so far. Things you enjoyed, things you'd like to see, what you think of the characters, the sex etc.

The main reason i'm doing this is that there are apparently lot of obscenely nice people out there who seem to enjoy my literary ramblings and don't want Aphrodisia to end on chapter 5. Well don't worry it won't end on chapter 5, there'll be a chapter 6 even if I have to smash it out of my head with a sledge hammer. Before resorting to that however, I thought I'd try this.

So any constructive commentary/questions/talking points about the story, characters, plot or whatever else strikes you as interesting would be of immense help. Hopefully it will help me get my head back into the story so I can write this bloody flashback sequence properly and build some steam for the next chapter.

Also, i'm well aware that at 5 chapters this is going to be a LOOOONG read for you guys. So if you want to help a guy out but can't make it through the whole thing then cheers for trying in advance

I'm 35 chapters into a novel and more yet there is #36 staring me in the face and I can't finish it!

I have another story that is distracting me and I can't get excited about finishing #36. Three months I've been writing #36 and still no finish, crap!

The best way to get rid of writer's block is to just keep writing. It might be crap, it might not even be the story that you're trying to write, but just the act of writing can inspire.
