I was just informed by my agent that aol women has pinched several of my stories as well as portions of my novel. I have never even SEEN their website, never been to it and I CERTAINLY have NEVER given them permission to publish ANYTHING I have written. Who the hell do these people think they are?

Are they a part of AOL or do they just have the name?

I have a plan that I will not share here because I am sure their scum sucking mutherfucker ass pirating dick drip cum bubble cunt scab of an editor (no, I am not mad!) reads these BBs since he/she seems to STEAL many of the stories on Literotica. Trust me, they WILL GO DOWN IN FLAMES.

Please everyone, do me a favor...if AOL Women has stolen your work, especially copyrighted work, please contact me by email as well as post on this thread the work they stole, approximate date of the theft and what action you took against them.

I am tired of theives. My blood is boiling.

I am contacting AOL to ask if they are aware that either one of thir publications or someone using their name is plagerizing the work of dozens of authors. I have heard horror stories. I believe Bob Peale has one of his own as well (I think it was Bob?).

It will take me a while, probably three muchs or so, but they will go down in the flames of hell and I will be laughing at the top of the pit, holding a sword high in the air. Die Die Die!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

AolWomen, be afraid, be very afraid.
(insert maniacle laughter here)

Post the link here? I'll check, too. (Not that they'd want mine unless they've got a sister site called AOLBondageBabes.com... but still, i should check.)

I believe it is aolwomen.com. My agent found it, not me, and I am too steamed to investigate any further until this raging vein in my forehead calms down.

Fried brain -- it never fails.

Okay. I tried your site (I don't know WHAT I did earlier), and it is an amateur porn site. There are stories, but since it is a members site, and I refuse to pay money for that, I couldn't see the stories themselves.

They are apparently read aloud by the amateurs (Why read text? they say), and it will be interesting if any of the B&D stories are there; they do have a fetish section.

Okay. Now I'm REALLY going to bed.

As for plagerism concerns. I have had my work plagerized. Most authors have. It is a hazard of writing. A job corner you have to get around. If you fear this so much that you limit your potential, you are locking yourself in a box. It is harsh, but deal with it. You suck it up and say "What an a-hole." and you go on back to the keyboard and write some more. Copyright laws and the internet are words that really don't mean shit in the same sentance, so just deal with it. As of now, if someone steals your story, there is very little you can do about it. That sucks but it is the truth, and we deal with that.

S,

You have to admit that it's a little ironic that you posted the above just a little over a month ago (3/20/01 to be exact). :)

Now you see why I was so steamed. It wasn't the lifting (although that was a little irritating) that got me about these sites, it's the fact that they INCORPORATE you so wholesale without so much as asking if you even want to be a part of them. For most of us, finding our email addy's isn't complex...it's all over the web. Yet they take our stuff without any fear of reprisal. Good for you for fighting back!
