Hi. Welcome to Lit!
We have a couple of "new authors" threads you may be interested in looking through. (Authors! Sign in here! and Welcome to Story Ideas) You may aslo be interested in our Author's Hangout board.
They are great places to get you started here at Lit! There's also an Editor's Forum and some story/poetry feedback boards.
On this board, you'll find many posts made by people looking for new stories for Lit! They'll tell you what they wish to see, and hopefully offer up some details of their own. Several "established" authors here at Lit will also post to this board to brainstorm new ideas.
So, my "advice" for you is to just jump in there and look around at what Lit has to offer!! There are many ideas and requests for stories, and sometimes you'll find inspiration will strike when reading other threads throughout the site!!

So you want to be a writer?
Write about yourself because other than "nuts and bolts" research, that's really all you can write about when you think about it.
I could be mean and suggest that you start by writing about a man who has never written before but wants to express himself through the written word. He might learn how to use spell check and how to compose a complete sentence for example when some AH on a well known erotic story site tries to poke fun at him for being incompentant for example.
What have you done that someone might be interested in learning about? Have you ever fucked anyone? If not, why not do you suppose? If you have, how was it? Have you had sex more than once? If so, can you compare the first time with your last time?
Are you satisfied with the size of your dick? Why?
Who have you lusted after? What was it about them that caught your attention? What did you do about it? What could you have done differently? How would that have made a difference?
What kind of literature do you read? The dictionary? Instructions on how to put together your parents new barbque grill? Erotic stories? What would happen if you were suddenly to find yourself IN one of your favorite stories? What characters would you want to avoid? Who would you want to speak to?
Just a few hints. Best of luck and be skeptical about advice coming from someone who wants to know anything about the size of your joystick.
