Interesting. I have seen candles used for some insertion before, but the homemade aspect raises a memory of mine.

I recently was home visiting some relative in WA and went to a big fair they have there. There was a lady making candles by hand and had built them into some very interesting shapes and molds.

A quiet candlemaker could be a good basis for an interesting story. Any other ideas- think way out there.

A random note, hand grenades used by US soldiers are no longer pinapple shaped. They're more or less completley round except for the top where the pin goes.

That reminds me of one of my favorite all-time pictures from a Penthouse Magazine. It shows a woman with a long string of pearls.
