Anyone

I'm a bit familiar. Did you have a question, or comment about it? Suggestion?

Take it with a grain of salt

Even though the articles I read there seemed very well thought out and level headed some of the points I did not agree with. Everyone is different and every site is different, inhabited by different people and different ideas.

Paging Mr. Buffett...

I was thinking more like a shaker of salt, which is why I didn't say too much. I found it to be a little, um pompous in areas.

I take everything with a grain of salt... and I've heard Wiseman is a bit of an ass, so I usually only skim articles/sites that quote him.

Not familiar with the site at all.

Cutie, I've only had face-to-face contact with Jay Wiseman once, he was presenting to a group in North Carolina, CAPEX, along with Janet Hardy from Greenery Press. At the time I was spearheading an effort to raise money for Master Doug Harris to help meet medical expenses that were incurred by Master Doug's life partner (boy bob Harris) during bob's final illness. Jay was very supportive. Without any prompting on my part he donated an autographed book to be raffled/auctioned for our fundraiser.

But we've had several contacts on the internet. We've been on some e-mail forums together for quite some time. Like many educated and experienced people, he does hold to his convictions, and he may not always be tactful in defending his opinions. *chuckles* Hell, like most of us I suppose he can be a bit of an ass at times.

Please don't dismiss what he has to say in his articles and books out of hand, based on someone else's opinion of Jay. He's got a lot of good information to share. I don't always agree with his thoughts and ideas, and I certainly don't hero-worship the man. And just like any other resource, I use what works for me and mine and let the rest go.
