it's chilling

and shows the difficult positions so many staffers were placed in

It's also being panned as from Comey's myopic and self-serving perspective. No, I didn't watch it.

a lot of it is based on comey's writings but it fully encapsulates known events of the time, stuff internal investigations revealed, and trump's own words.

it certainly paints comey in a sympathetic light, but he is criticised for his ego by other characters portrayed and, possibly, shows a more human and realistic version of events we've seen played out.

having said all that, take it with a big old pinch off salt and i would recommend you watch it... trump's played in a way that's not cartoon, not outrageously, but that makes him even uglier; jeff sessions is, well, sessions, sally yates is tiny but tough (on comey, too), the new trump staffers haven't a clue how the whitehouse works and make so many eye-opening statements that regular staffers are left lost for words with before trying to show them how to do their jobs, and how trump fully manipulated the weaker rosenstein leaving him resentful both of comey and of trump and feeling quite sorry for himself.
