everyone who has joined me in round one!
The recruiting is closed at a ripe happy number of 669 views. We have 21 participants and 15 stops altogether.
The General Board has a Snail Mail Experiment v3
((because there have been two others))
The Theme is obvious, its BDSM.
So far a couple of the activities are already up and going. I'm accepting ANY ideas, feel free to post or PM.
Pass the Pussy: I have a little plushy kitty toy doll, and there is an activity to go along with it which is fun, and I don't want to reveal it just yet... BUT... part of the activity is to take a picture with it OR of it somewhere special that you want to share with everyone - these pics w/o question WILL be posted.
Collective Story or Poem: I'll start off a poem or a story (or both) and everyone can add as much or as little as they would like.
To be posted eventually as well when it gets back to me.
I was thinking of including a little little knicknack for everyone to keep, it'll all be the same one of course ... but when you take it out, you have to replace it with a little tiny something of your own, don't say its yours though! I'll take digi pics of them when they get back to me - and we could play "whos whats it?"
Or something along those lines... I'm still playing with the idea in my head.
In the book, write on the first pages, the post mark when you get the box!
There will be something involving postcards or scenic pictures that you already own and can part with... more details about that are going in the book though.
The participants can send things around to other people further down the list as well in envelopes (or not) with messages etc etc ... the last person to get the box o stuff, sends it back to me and whatever people want shared - gets posted in the thread.
PLEASE clearly mark things that are for other people further down on the list!! I can put in a few plastic baggies.
One for stuff to remain no matter what IN the box.
One for stuff that could be sent back to me if the box is getting heavy.
And maybe one more to clearly mark the personal things that people want to pass to other people further down .. this way there aren't any mix ups
The box might get a little heavy, and if you feel its a little much, send some of the extra stuff back to me. Make sure it isn't anything important (especially if it is a note or something to be given to someone further down on the list), this way we can keep the cost of the box down because it is going in and out of the US !!
The GBers has have done it before with success, they stick to around 20 people.
Alot of us have been around for a while, and already talk to eachother freely on a personal level...
basic rules guidelines:
+no personal info can be posted online at anytime for any reason, remember the person before you has your addy too...
+if you drop out tell me so I can replace you with someone willing!!
+keep us posted. Person has to post when they get it and when they send it out - ya can keep it up to 3-4 days max.
+I'd collect the address and give them to the participants accordingly, and take
placement preferences so people have an easier freer time with it.
OR - you can wait till the list is FINAL and give your addy to the person above you... just don't forget to do it.
+ PM me your info if you want in - I don't want to go over 20 ... but I could make exceptions
I'll edit this post to keep ya'll updated, and bump it when I do
SO FAR: So the number technically of participants is 17, but lets leave the number at 12 to be fair to anyone late coming to the fun and games !
Some of you have sending prefrences which I took into consideration - please tell me now if you would like to be moved around in the order to make yourself feel comfortable; if I can do it I will, if I can't you either need to compromise or drop out and wait for the next round I don't want that to happen though *crosses fingers*
The package is officially going in and out of the states ! And this is the pocket friendly list becaused I did clump people differently and still have you all in just about the same order.

again, don't be shy with suggestions to make the experiment more involving and still fun and community building. I have had a couple of suggestions that have totally made it into the box.
