Can't speak for anyone else, but .. for myself, were i to make any attempt in answering burnham's post i'd have answered their question with ANOTHER question, or two or three: "WHO is VeryNastyMaster??" ... "Do they post here?" ... "Hmm, why does that name not ring a bell, for me?" ....

Beats me, but ... perhaps no one answered because none had any info to provide in answering burnham's question other than "Nope.".... "i dunno" ... or "Nasty WHO??".

Fail to see how having burnham sort through a multiple pages of identical posts with everyone replying with that same type of reply would have helped them, much Cheyenne.

When i first registered here and actually came out of a year or so of lurking and just reading other's posts........ i DID post at the GB a few times, initially.
Many (though not all) didn't like my av .... didn't like my font, & didn't like my signature.
So .... i explained to them that they could turn off their avs and solve that .. and that i wasn't going to change my font, nor my signature because it seemed highly unlikely that doing either would solve their issues, as we all know that ya just can not please EVERYONE.

i like smileys. Sometimes they are helpful in letting others know that i am just joking or pulling their leg. Many times tone and intent are lost when typing out thoughts and opinions.

Then, half the board took offence and did not respond kindly toward me at all (to put it lightly) ... so i suggested to those people that they should all concider doing the world a favor by practicing safe sex & 'go fuck themselves'. They all promptly put me on ignore.

So .... nope i don't think the GB is a very good place for me.

Although i have been known to visit there breifly from time to time ... kind of like a 'post and then runnnnnn' thing when i am bored with the topics offered here at the BDSM boards.

........ my font is, and always has been set to the forum 'default' *shrugs* Go figure, huh?? Silly GB-ers.

i Used to just copy/paste my sig with every post. i was asked WHY i did that,
and then was TOLD <--- key word right there ......
That i NEEDED to go to my CP and set the sig permanently. It doesn't matter WHY i did it that way ...& certainly is no one else's friggin business to tell me what i NEED to do (aside, from my Master .... of course). So at that point, i adopted that as my reason for NOT setting up the sig. i basically told the whole bassackwards bunch to go bang their ankles ....

.........my av back then was a pic of me with a thin teal border (attached below... but can't find the original that blinked), like the glass strip of a neon light sign, and it blinked on & off. THEY said it was annoying. From where i sit, it's MY screen ... and it will look exactly as i LIKE it to.
