Of a free program I can get from a place like download.com that is a photo viewing program? Something like I can just flip thru each photo instead of opening each and closing each. I had acd see but I lost my disk with it on it.
I don't need to edit or anything I have photo shop for that just something to see them.

www.irfanview.com

Irfanview has both a browse function and a slideshow function. It also will move through a directory with next and back arrows.

Thanks WH! Just what I was looking for....

ThumbsPlus by Cerious Software.
Much easier to use and more user friendly than Irfanview.

Actualy man... i cant remember if your running windows XP or not.. BUT... explorer.exe the program that IS the shell of windows, uses the IE core to open up windows explorer, and "my computer" it has an opion in the view menu to view as photo album. this puts a film strip sort of deal at the bottom of the window, and above the film strip, is the larger view of the image. so ya know, ya dont really need another program. im not sure but i think this option goes back to win98 but dont quote me. :)

Nope, Win 98, Win ME, and Win 2K, all lack the "Preview Image" ability of Win XP. I haven't seen it on anything exept Win XP either.

If running WinME or WinXP (unsure about 2k), and the photos are in the My Documents/My Pictures folder there is an option on the left that is a slideshow....
