Are there any other lit members from Hong Kong or nearby that would like to meet up for friendship or possibly even fun? I'm a straight, single, 28 year old British male...

Hmmmm

Do people not take holidays anymore? lol

Obviously not! I think that I managed to answer my own question there.... lol

Hi there. Just saw your posting. I get to Hong Kong at least 2 times a year on busness and you ask a good question. I take it you live in Hong Kong and if so, maybe you can tell me where a good place is to go to attempt to have some fun? During my stay I am in the area of Tsim Sha Tsui East. Look forward to hearing back from you. By the way, I am a straight male from the states

Yep... I am a true Hong Konger (if there is such a word! lol)

It all depends on what you're looking for, fun wise? How long do you stay when you visit? Just as a couple of pointers, there are some VERY good bars near where your hotel is. Just off Kimberly Road, there is a little street called Knutsford Terrace. On it you'll find "Chasers" (in my opinion one of the best bars in HK), that has live music every night. The band they have at the moment do Doors covers and suck like. If you closed your eyes, you could SWEAR that it was Jim Morrison, they are that good!! Next door is Bahama Mama's, a Jamaican themed bar, also pretty good.

If you jump on the MTR, you can always go to Wan Chai, where you'll find loads of bars on Lockhart Road (and girlie bars if that's what you're interested in! Be careful though, they are FUCKING expensive!). Alternatively, go to Central then walk upto Lan Kwai Fong, Hong Kong's "bar" district!

Hope this is of some help...

Thanks for the info. I know exactly where Chasers is. I am going to have to stop in there during my next visit. I am usually there for 12 to 16 days. As far as Wan Chi, I normaly do not get over there but always wanted to. Being a male away from home, it does get lonely going back to a quiet room I can tell you that. One of the bars I do go to when I am there is Delaney's Pub on Nathen Road across from the Hyatt Regency. Not a bad place to grab a cold one.

I will have to keep in touch with you on when I get back over in HK and give you a shout to meet you over a cold one. Thanks again.
