Oh, oh! I play once in awhile.
I used to be majorly addicted, but back then I played it in a games room at TalkCity - basically the same thing. Then I discovered Acrophobia, and though that format was much cooler, it wasn't as fun without all the regular players from TalkCity. I lost interest soon after that.
Located at won.com and it takes a while to load but then it's there anytime you want to play. You choose whatever room you want to play in and you play against 12 other players around the world and can chat as you play the game.. vote on each others acronym and then face off. It's so much fun!
The players are given a set of between 3 and 7 letters
ie. T O F B A and they have to make up a sentence, like they're expanding the acronym. ie. Trouble on farm, barn's afire! Ok, dumb example, but you get the point.
The players send their expanded acros to a bot, who displays them as a list and everyone votes for their favourite one. The one with the most votes gets bonus points, and first player to 30 wins - or does battle with the 2nd place player in a face-off.
did such a better job explaining than I did.. ^5 Stang
Anyway, I haven't played in a while and since I'm burning up this board.. feeling the fever, I might just play a couple of rounds tonight. I do better when I'm drunk, kinda like playing darts. hehe
Unfortunately, the abcuss I connect to the net on seems to crash 99 out of 100 times I try to play that game. It gets to be such a nuisance that I haven't even attempted to play in ages.
As soon as I get a better puter, I'm going to have to remember to go play.
Catch Ezzie when she's online. She used to be "Ezzy" over at Acro (had to change her name here 'cause of the He Ezzy already running about!). She was a captain of the Hot Tubbers. I think once in a blue moon she may still play, but under another team. Like Lit for me, she's developed a close knit group of "family" from Acro. Also, she has visited most all of 'em (along the Minnesota/Canada regions).
I used to love playing that game, it is a lot of fun. That game lead me to MPlayer. And I played on MPlayer until I won over 10 million dollars. Then I became addicted to reading such great stories and posts here on Literotica.
At least some of the people who play for acro teams can. I swear, it's the biggest bunch of cry babies and backstabbers on the net. It's very rare I play anymore and I'm not on a team. I still talk to a few of the people who play because I won't deny that I've met some wonderful people from there. Online and in person. If you ever go play for fun or someone asks you to join a team, come see me. I can tell you who are the biggest bitches on the face of the earth and what teams are worth playing for.
