The spring fever?
I have noticed that in the spring, Every year I tend to get a really high sex drive, always around April-may 'til about July. I mean I always have a fairly high sex drive but at this time a year, I just go crazy nothing, absolutely nothing the hubby does truly satisfies me I always want MORE,MORE MORE!! I have several orgasms and still want some more....

Anyone like me? anyone with an explanation? is there something hormonal happening in the spring?

I've not notice a seasonal cycle as you speak of, however I do experience a monthly/semi-monthly cycle where I have extremely heightened desires. The peaks last for about a week, then back down to a more normal level. This is something that has developed over the last few years. Being that I'm a guy, I can't blame it on hormone fluctuations either.

if it's hormonal, but I definitely get THE FEVER! : ) Maybe it has something to do with the spring awakening of the Earth. Everything is green, fresh, in bloom...it's such a feast for the senses it wakes up something in ME. Every Spring, I get these feelings of being ripe, juicy and succulent. And this will sound crazy, but I really like the heat and humidity of an East Coast summer, for the same sultry reasons.

Here! Here! I always get a cold in the spring time. This year, however, my immune system decided to play games with me and only gave me a currently somewhat mild throat infection. The thing is that it's gotten worse and worse in the past few days and right now, I'm supposed to go mow the lawn which'll do everything but help.

And don't even get me STARTED with the allergies...!

Experiencedguy, no outdoor sex for me lol at least not at dawn or dusk or near water or in the shade lol I am allergic to mosquito bites if I get bitten I end up with large swollen welts that are extremely itchy( not to mention not pleasing to the eye)....and I don't know if the fact that I am allergic to them make me that much more delicious to them but even covered in stinky insect repellent they still bite me,

This is hardly germane, but spring is when grain harvested last fall tries mightily to sprout and grow and will go out of condition, meaning it will be ruined, if the moisture content is the least little bit too high. Some folks suspect it's the horny endosperm part of the kernel that goes nuts at that time of the year.

Ha, NM, I always say a guy's cycle is about 6 weeks long. Can be evident in libido, mood, energy. Have no idea what causes it but have noticed it in more than one man.

I've got the one week a month thing too, we call it MegaWeek around here, lol.

Haha haven't tried the mountain top thing but I've always wanted to have sex outside during a snowstorm, even tried to entice the hubby to do so, but he's just too chicken, he says I am crazy lol to my defense the time I brought it up it was only zero degrees celsius and only one part of him would have been exposed and even there technically it would have been in a pretty warm place I would have been the cold one but he refused.... I was kinda mad when he turned me down! He still refuses to this day... and keeps laughing at the idea.... What can I say I know its a bit crazy but doesn't mean it wouldn't be fun. I don't know theres just something about freezing snowflakes tickling and freezing my body or parts of it anyways that totally drives me wild, being cold and full of goosebumps to feel nice and warm hands rubbing and pinching me doesn't sound like a crazy idea to me.

I assure you that is the best way to be warmed up after shoveling the fuck-tonne of snow the parts of Canada I'm in will get. If only it weren't so hard to be gentle but firm with slightly numbed fingers. Too cold in Canada to get particularly sexy outdoors at any time, I'm afraid.

As to these spring urges, well, my poor woman will shortly recover and we'll have another go.

For me is about daylight - Living in the North (53 Degrees) means long bright summers - daylight from 4:30 am untill 10pm during May / June, lying in bed in the bright light gives me more sexual energy and interest, whereas in the winter - bed is more for sleeping through long dark cold nights.
