I completed the first two parts of a story about a race of hermaphroditic anthro dragon-like creatures, the story focuses on going into heat, impregnation, and incest, and will later get to oviposition and lactation. The story is actually intended for the yiffstar archive and maybe the nifty one, not the literotica one, but neither of those archives have an editing forum. The current version of my story uses male pronouns for all the characters, and I'm going to do a second version using female pronouns.

Anyway would anyone be interested in editing this, or am I talking to the wrong crowd?

Hi sunandshadow,

I haven't edited that particular category before, but it does sound interesting, in a way XD
My tolerance is pretty high for weird stuff, so I don't think I'll have any problem with it.

PM me if you haven't found someone, and let me know if you have any other special instructions.

Cheers

Please educate - what does XD mean? Is that a curse? Heavens knows I've had my run of bad luck and don't need more!

There are a lot of different smileys that stand for a little different facial expressions. For example my favorite ^_^ represents a beatific or mischievous smile, the kind where the person's eyes are pretty much closed. Another good one is @_@ which means dazed/confused/stunned.

And thanks to delicate_yielding for the editing, I am about halfway through looking over the edits and incorporating most of them into the original. Wow some were ridiculous - 'a emergency'? That's just wrong. Or yay for randomly missing 3 words out of the middle of a sentence, lol.

Can't keep up. I know LOL and ROFL and BRB and such, but now variations of those? The more life gets complicated the less I understand. Now I know what my father went through with me, LOL.

I just use the Smilies given here and leave it at that. ;)

Why not use :) ??
There are many and varied smileys. They come from the old days (when I was young) and were acknowledged abbreviations used on teleprinters which had no graphic capabilities. My own signature (see below) is a smiley I have used for well over forty years now.

8 = wears glasses; - = normal nose; )) = double chin (i.e. fat); ? = smokes a pipe.

With the advent of graphics all the more complex smileys have vanished, for example
{ = wears a toupee or a moustache (depending on its position in the string)
seems to have died the death.

Some of us remember mega-smileys:

C=}>;*{)) = A drunk, devilish chef with a toupee in an updraft, a moustache, and a double chin

I have a 65k MSWord dictionary of 'real' smileys from teleprinter days; if anyone is interested PM me with an email address.

Interesting indeed.

Thanks for the information.
