Ok, I'm not a Browns fan, but, my Dad is. I bet he's pretty PISSED! But, what a stupid ass rule.

It was pretty much a microcosm of a lifetime of rooting for this fucked-up bunch of pathetic choking losers.

Hmmm. I thought I might be getting over it by now, but maybe not.

Why is it a stupid ass rule? The way I see it the Browns got penalized for having a nimrod who isn't playing attention to the play. I'm sure the coaches first words out of his mouth were "Finish the god damn tackle instead of celebrating a win we don't have."

Yeah the rule sucks but it is a rule and everyone knows it. My question is how do you let a freakin lineman run the ball for thirty yards? I'm not a Browns fan myself but then again not a Chiefs fan either. If I was the coach though I would be more pissed off bout the run then the guy who made the stupid ( but he did think the game was over and was celebrating, unfortunate) mistake and got the penalty.

They're named after Paul Brown, the team's first coach. They had some trouble agreeing on a suitable nickname, it would seem.

The Browns had appeared to get a sack on Chiefs QB Trent Dilfer to end the game, but Dilfer lateraled to a KC lineman to keep the play alive ... the lineman ran 30 yeards down field and got out of bounds but not before the clock ran out so it still should have been game over.

Problem was one of the Browns who had turned his back on the play ripped off his helmet and started shouting in joy thinking the game was over... that's a penalty and a game can not end on a defensive penalty so the Chiefs - who between the penalty and the run got within kicking range - got the field goal with no time left.

John Tate is a young, 2nd year, emerging superstar from BYU. When you hear of offensive linemen thinking as a unit, you don’t know what it means until you see the clip of the run and the wall of flesh his brothers on the offensive line provided. And dat big boy was a’ runnin’! :D

Trent Green. NOt much difference. Chief have a REAL QB named Quinn if the would just let him play.

I did a rant on it on Chuckus’ thread. Go read it!

Brown’s fans should be proud. They played well, very well. They had mental breakdowns, but the backup Holcome (sp?) was outstanding.

Both offensives played VERY well.

HATS OFF TO BOTH TEAMS!

Long Live the NFL!

He's back! 122 yards. 4 TD's Priest "ThANK YOU RAVENS!" Holmes, last year's leading rusher DESPITE Vermeil not playing him much in the first 6 games...

LOOK OUT FANS! HERE HE COMES!
