Anybody with ten free minutes?

I wrote something that I didn't actually mean to write... It just kind of came out. It's about what it's like to come out to your parents in a small town. I like it, and I want to do something with it, but I'm not really sure if it's Lit material, because it doesn't seem to fit into any category.

Is there anybody out there who'd be willing to give me 10 minutes of their time and suggest where, if not Lit, I could send it to?

PS - I still have a bit of tidying up work to do on it, and a couple of lesson plans to do for tomorrow, so it might be an hour or so before I send it - if anyone's willing to have a read.

I hesitated about answering because I didn't think I could be a great deal of help, but it's a quiet day here today so I'll take a look if you wish, not sure if I can advise where to send it on to - yet.

Edit: Just like buses, you queue for ages then two come along at once.
