Anybody who thinks Barney is bad, hasn't seen Power Rangers

This show is the worst piece of low-budget crap I've ever seen and my kids love it.

Kids shows I don't mind watching:

Kipper the Dog - The slow, clipped English voices and overall lack of hyper visual stimulation lulls me. I find it relaxing to watch.

Zaboomafoo - Kraft brothers, me, threesome. Also, learning about the animals is cool and they don't talk down to kids.

Blue's Clues - I love the visuals on this show - the combination of colors and dots and swirls and such.

I'd rather kill myself than watch Teletubbies ever again. I thank the universe daily that my children have outgrown it.

I hear you. I'd rather have them watch teletubes than Power Rangers.

Just a few minutes of watching Power Rangers and my kids are showing one another how to kick and punch. I'd like to kick and punch the producers.

my kids outgrew Barney and Power Rangers. Love to tease my 13 year old about both though!!

I loved watching Blues Clues with my little one - but now he's gotten to big too - he's almost 10.

I'm happy they are both into reading more than watching TV. My daughter is now into watching chick flicks with mom - but it's scary hearing her say how nice looking Ben Afflect and Matt Damon are - as well as others.

My nephew currently goes between Sesame Street, Teletubbies, Jay Jay the Jet Plane and Toy Story.

I'm so sick of Toy Story ....

Teletubbies ... it's crack for babies. They love it, stare at it motionless, and no one understands what the fuck is going on

Jay Jay is ok. It's computer illustrated, talking planes learning how to share, opposites, smells .. etc.

S.S. - other than *Mr. Noodle* in Elmo's World .. the show's alright.

Good:

Blue's Clues, Dragon Tales, Between the Lions, Kipper, Oswald the Octapus, Sponge Bob (ok, this is one that I like), and Zoom.

Bad:

Anything with too much violence. Power Rangers being one of the biggest culprits...but it's never on my TV.

By naming the Power rangers and the Teletubbies you just guaranteed me having nightmares.

I babysit once in a while and when the guy was small he loved Teletubbies,nothing else would do.
Now over a year after he has given up on them I still can quote the shows.
I'm just happy he likes Winnie the Pooh now,that is quality I tell you,not to mention Astrid Lindgrens different childrens stories that have been adapted.

I used to do daycare and I hate Barney. I hate Barney so much my son has no clue who he is. I hate the Wiggles, in fact I'll raise fund to fix the problem. Most of the stuff on the cartoon channel gets him wound up like a top, so we don't watch it much.

I used to like Blue's Clues before Steve left.

I like Between the Lions, Cyberchase, Kim Possible, The Proude Family, and Zoom. Oh and Scooby Doo.

Power Rangers used to be okay because you could enjoy it as campy. It's since worn out it's welcome.

My older son has now gotten addicted to DragonBallZ and both him and my daughter love Hamtaro, which is really kinda cute.

I can't stand Rugrats and never could. Barney runs a close second - ewwww.

when Power rangers first came out it was an okay show.

okay it was a japanese show that Bandi stole and dubed voices in and tryed to make a background story by remakeing mabey 1/10 of the show wiht new actors, then they started changeing there powers, then cahngieng actors then change actors again

there are 5 rangers, yet a total of 26 actors have played there parts in the last 8 years I think it's been.

Ruby the show is a fucking hell of a lot worse now then it was then.
the contravercy then was.... They have swords.

I can't stand Caillou. Okay, I did like it at first because I find it visually appealing, but now Caillou's high-pitched whinny voice grates my nerves.

Not only that, but the parents are way too perfect. I'm waiting for Caillou to accidentally maim or kill his sister, and his parents to sit him down for a reasoned discussion about the pros and cons of throwing living beings off the roof. Not that Caillou would ever do anything so bad. ;-)
