Anybody seen a ghost?

Dead link [irony].

I don't suppose that this would be one of those things where you have to concentrate really hard on something and then something scary pops up, would it?

You wouldn't do that to us, would you?

Still not going for me. Probably a good thing.

I was once sent one via e-mail, detailing a real ghost caught live on video. The accompanying text which you were encouraged to read before watching the video told you that it was footage filmed for a car advertisement and that it had been scrapped due to something unexplained being filmed along with the car. The viewer was encouraged to watch for a faint white mist that would appear near the front tyre of the car on the final bend. Apparently, when the directors saw this, they did their research and discovered that that stretch of road was partial to a large amount of car accidents and hit and runs.

The video showed a car easing down a lovely, idyllic, winding country road (as car advertisments are wont to do) and spent a good 40 seconds giving us a beautiful view of the car's manouevring and looks when in free flow. Then, a person in full zombie/monster makeup stepped in front of the camera and shrieked like a banshee, appearing for only a second before stepping away.

Scared the living shit out of me, let me tell you. Very professionally done though.

I've seen that one, too. I also saw one in which some Europeans were driving along, one of them playing with a camera. They pick up a girl on the side of the road, who starts crying, and she points out a spot along the road where she got into an accident and died.

Predictably, the camera turned on her as she screamed, her face bloody and scarred, and then the camera flips and there's the sound of shattering glass.

Pretty well done.

But the link I posted isn't anything like that. Just watch it.

The way I see it is it is either a "real" ghost, which would FREAK me out bigtime. . .or it is one of those things that starts out innocent enough then BAM something jumps out at you and you nearly pee your pants! :p

Oh, come on, Kiten. You know me well enough by now.
