Anybody know of stories of gradual self-persuasion?

There's a genre of stories I love that is hard to characterize. I love stories that have to do with people who gradually talk themselves into something they consider naughty or wrong. Not criminal acts, just something the narrator or character had thought they wouldn't do, that they slowly come around to.

There is no simple story tag, at least, none that I know of. If anyone can think of examples, I'd appreciate it if you would pass them along to me.

I've been thinking of writing my own story incorporating this element -- hopefully it won't be too disastrous.

btw, thank all of you who have taken the time to write any story for the enjoyment of the rest of us.

I can't think of any specific stories, Andy, but you might do some searching for stories about reluctant wives who get talked into all sorts of things here on Literotica. Interracial ones where hubby is trying to get her to take on a black lover. Loving Wives stories where hubby is trying to talk the wife into swinging or swapping or what have you. Girlfriends are always trying to talk their married friends into cheating for one reason or another. The list is endless. Key words like wife, reluctant, shy, cheating, swap, swing, soft swing, etc. should turn up some specific stories for you.

If you're interested in trying your hand at it, think of something you doubt you would ever do, imagine a friend trying to talk you into it and jot down the dialog that might come out of such discussions. Write it in the first person, i.e. from your perspective and see how it comes out.

If you're not adverse to incest, you'll probably find a fair number of these stories there too. Notably, Dads who struggle with attraction to their teen daughters. Evidently it's some kind of epidemic. Not necessarily my cup of tea, but it's there for you to find.

If you can stand lesbian sibling incest, I'll do a smidge of self-promotion and steer you to one of my own stories, Macallan Promises. It's got a bit of fantasy to it, but its main, narrating character (an older sister) is struggling with her attraction to her younger sibling. There's internal dialogue of the type you might find entertaining.

You're dialing yourself into something I've always preferred in my erotic reading material -- I want to feel a little of a character's internal conflict, a bit of struggle they have to overcome before giving into their desires.

Ah. . . you've hit the heart of me!

The title of the genre is call Transgressive Fiction. It's where the character makes decisions that go against their nature and, due to those decisions, change their nature. Other pieces of transgressive fiction include Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along-Blog, Body Of A Girl, Training Day, etc.

I've recently become a huge fan of this type of story. Let me know if you need more examples.

Sammie: I rather like this genre too, but I was unable to find any of the stories you suggest (except Training Day, or which there are quite a few). Could you be more specific please?
