The Michigan Supreme Court on Friday declined to hear a lawsuit from Donald Trump’s campaign that sought to stop officials from counting absentee ballots.

The lawsuit, filed on Nov. 4, asked the court to order Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson to stop counting absentee votes because of alleged issues with the counting process. The State Board of Canvassers certified Michigan’s election results on Nov. 23.

On Friday, the state’s highest court declined to hear the suit, saying in an order “we are not persuaded that the questions presented should be reviewed by this Court.”

I've lost count. I know it's zero wins for Trump, and well over 40 wins for Biden, with more Biden wins certain to come.

It was 1-55 this morning against Trump, and he just lost YUGE at the Supreme Court.....I wonder if that is "1" defeat or "17" defeats since soooo many red states co-filed?

Thank the LORD!!

It should never even have gotten as far as it did.

Nobody likes losing but lets face it, only in socialist hellholes, or banana republic dystopias like Venezuela or Haiti can a leader get away with overturning an election. The U.S. is and always has been, better than that. Lets hope it never happens here in the US. No matter WHAT party or faction (Republican or democrat, liberal or conservative; socialist or fascist) the president belongs to.

Supported impeachment because democracy bad!!! LOL

I hope the (R)'s impeach and remove the first (D) they can just on principle. VP too. OUT a week later. :D

.
I was keeping track of Trump's losses in a wastebasket, but after a while I had to move them to a trash can, then a dumpster, and finally a landfill.

Soooo much losing.

The Supreme Court’s 6-3 conservative majority includes three justices appointed by Trump and none of them commented in the unsigned order. Before the Nov. 3 election, Trump said he expected its outcome to be decided by the Supreme Court and he cited that as a reason for the Republican-controlled Senate to quickly confirm Justice Amy Coney Barrett, one of his appointees, before the election.

Two of the court’s conservatives, Justice Samuel Alito and Justice Clarence Thomas, said they would have allowed Texas to sue but would not have blocked the four states from finalizing their election results.

Democracy WORKS when the will of both the majority AND the electoral college is upheld against frivolous and baseless challenges by power hungry would-be dictators who try to subvert it.

Trump lost the election, ergo, Trump should not be allowed to circumvent the process and serve a second term despite losing the election. That is how democracy works.

"Democracy good."

You might want to brush up on your civics lessons.

Quick question, just curious. Back in the mid 1990s, the Republicans tried to remove Bill Clinton from office after he was caught lying about a sexual liason. Did you support that effort at the time, and if so, how is it any different than what you claim (despite any real evidence) that the Democrats are now doing to Trump?

Spanked again in Wisconsin.

"A federal judge on Saturday afternoon dismissed President Donald Trump's "extraordinary" lawsuit, which sought to overturn Wisconsin's election results.

"This is an extraordinary case. A sitting president who did not prevail in his bid for reelection has asked for federal help in setting aside the popular vote based on disputed issues of election administration, issues he plainly could have raised before the vote occurred. This Court has allowed plaintiff the chance to make his case and he has lost on the merits,""

These are wins for all American citizens, even the ones who think they have been robbed of something. It is a win for our democracy, our system of checks and balances and ultimately.our way of life in the USA.

And another:

MADISON - The state Supreme Court ruled Monday it is up to Wisconsinites to determine whether they face challenges that allow them to vote absentee without providing a copy of a photo ID.

Under state law, people can vote absentee without showing an ID if they say they are indefinitely confined because of age, disability or infirmity.

Two county clerks this spring contended voters could meet that status because of the coronavirus pandemic and a stay-at-home order issued by Democratic Gov. Tony Evers.

The state Republican Party sued directly with the state Supreme Court and the justices quickly issued an initial order that said the advice from the county clerks was faulty. The clerks rescinded their advice.

In its final decision Monday, the justices concluded it was up to each voter — not clerks or anyone else — to decide when they qualify as indefinitely confined. In addition, they found the pandemic and the stay-at-home order — which has since been struck down — did not render all voters indefinitely confined.

MADISON - The Wisconsin Supreme Court upheld Democrat Joe Biden's Wisconsin win Monday, handing President Donald Trump a defeat less than an hour before the Electoral College was to meet.

The 4-3 ruling was the latest in a string of dozens of losses for the president across the country as Republicans pursue last-gasp efforts to give Trump a second term.

In the majority, conservative Justice Brian Hagedorn joined the court's three liberals to confirm Biden's win. They found one of Trump's arguments was without merit and the others were brought far too late.
