I watch a good bit of soccer these days (mostly Premiership) and don't think I've ever thought about the LA Galaxy. But the hype is getting to me. I mean, I almost couldn't tear myself away from Posh's 'move to LA' reality show - until I got a migraine about a minute in.

Anyway, I say he plays 15 minutes in the second half. Place your bets.

Second half. Still not in. Chelsea up by 1. All the stars are here to be seen. No skydivers.

He's in!

Doing anything?

Not really.

Damn. There's a 17 year old playing for Chelsea.

Really?

Yeah.

Damn.

So what's Beckam doing?

Not much. Beer?

Sure.

How did he do, then? He's been struggling with a bad ankle and so really he shouldn't have played at all.

I actually thought of you when I posted since I know your a soccer fan. Anyway, for what they're paying him he would have gone in on crutches if need be. :) He played about 10 minutes at the end and did okay. Got a few touches, got kicked in the right ankle. Chelsea dominated and won 1-0.

Boo hiss to Chelsea!

I've actually met David Beckham a couple of times when my friend and I used to go autograph hunting at the training ground -he was just startig out in thr united team then though. I'm still a bit of a fan, really :)

He comes across as being pretty likable in the interviews. I wonder if they'll continue with the "Beckam's Move to LA" reality show.

He is an ameniable chap. We bumped into him in a shop in manchester one day and he happily signed autographs for the two young lads we had with us. He was buying slippers :D

I've not seen any of that, but if they'vemade it I'm sure they'll keep showin it ;)
