Anybody from Louisiana online or anybody who went to Mardi Gras?

I went to a couple of parades up north but I've always had more fun in New Orleans during Mardi Gras. Just couldn't rustle up a hotel room in time. Oh and I'm not from Louisiana, just stationed here.

I've been wondering if i was the only one here from cajun country

I hit the Carencro and Lafayette parades yesterady. Haven't been to NO yet. This is my first MG here, so i gotta find someone who wants to make the drive there and back
