Anybody else having this problem?

I post a reply and it is removed. I don't have permission to view the link in my signature. I start a thread and it is also removed. I posted a reply in the books thread and it was removed.

This really sucks.

Just a couple of days. I posted a reply about my new book and it was promptly removed. It contain nothing that wasn't on any of the other replies. I didn't even post the cost of the book.

My other posts in this forum have been removed also. Click on the link in my signature. I copied it from a thread that was removed without cause.

I tried it. I've never seen that message before. It was definitely very odd. Did you PM Manu? I would think he would be the one to talk to.

I got that message when I changed my email addy. I had to go to the new addy and click on a link that they sent me to activate the new address, just as if I started a new lit ID.

Have you made any changes to your Lit account recently?

I'm paranoid by nature. Never had anyone to sneak up on me or even a sprang ankle. This pissed me off because the reply about my new book was removed.

Now you see it, now you don't kind of thing. I had even edited it. The removal was done on purpose.

I understand that a PM gets a quicker and surer response than Emails.

CD is correct.

I have seen that message every time I have had to change my email address at Literotica, and also anytime I accidentally hit Edit instead of Quote under some else's post.

Whatever else is happening, that mesage has not been newly installed for your benefit.

Lit's pre-post parsing means I had to put a . in the URL. The link works though. Apparently it doesn't pre-parse contents of the tag. However, it *does* preparse p... ... in your URLs, and the link doesn't work.

Yes, but it has the same effect, see full link below. Still the bigger issue is having my post deleted from the author's books thread. After I showed what I posted there, I reposted in the thread and sure-nough it was deleted.

I saw some talk here earlier about nude pics maybe about to be banned, and the amateur pics forum being in jeopardy. Could it be somehow related? I really have no idea, so it's just a wild guess.

Where and how is your picture hosted? I know that some VBulletin versions have problems with IMG tags linking to script dumps, for instance an ASP page generating image data instead of HTML, instead of actual image files. If the link to the image ends in .jpg or .gif, then that's probably not the problem.

But that's as far as my guesses goes, any other theories are out of my geek-o-sphere. I don't think it's anything technical. You did after all manage to post it all in this thread.

I know that I may sound like I don't have a clue, but I develope web applications for a living. Hence, this message board written in php is really cool because each of you are here. It's not the technology. As a matter of fact the free sharing of this technology is one of the problems by my asessement. If I had the time, barn burner would have all the bells and whisles, but I don't and many of you never even heard of my site. My issue is that my posts are being deleted. That sucks.

I've watched and studied. The only conclusion is that someone is deleting the anouncement of my new book on that thread. This is the type of crap that make coming here so difficult. I had all of my other stories removed from this site in hope that whom ever has it in for my work to go away.

I had it happen to me recently on Lit, but it is not you ... did you change servers, browsers recently? Do you have new odd firewalls? It fixed itself for me though
