In july I should be back in my home town on Lompoc for about 2 weeks, just wanted to see if there was anyone in the same area (Santa Barbara county) that would be interested in meeting, if just for coffee or more.

Danger is a relative term. It implies a negative outcome, and I doubt anything with you would be negative.

And I own a t-shirt that says "Chicks Hate me" :) You can always try. Its been a very long time since I've cried.

Well good. It's understood from the beginning that I hate you (because I'm a chick, obviously) and that my goal is to make you cry. It'll be an amazing time.

If you're serious, I'm completely interested. I'm a glutton for punishment.

Haha, you must be. ;)

Right now my most serious intentions are elsewhere. I will let you know if it goes awry though.

I'll chat with you about anything you like. :cathappy: I enjoy your company in conversation, even if it is in text rather than words.

Why thank you. I so rarely connect with people online, and thus have a hard tiome keeping up conversations with them, but I have enjoyed our conversation, and banter. Would you prefer to keep this lit based or, take it to a messaging system, such as AIM or MSN? As I've guessed, Rhapsody is your favorite series, but any other trilogies/series or authors you like? I'm very fond Weis and Hickman.

I suppose we should huh, seeing as we're just making this thread our own public private message. :D

I like Douglas Adams a lot... he wrote "The Hitch Hiker's Guide to the Galaxy." One of the most comical and insightful series I've ever read.

Bill Bryson is good too. He is similar to Adams' humor, though not as outward about it.

Other than that I haven't really read too much. I'm a sad excuse for a literary enthusiast!

However you want to chat this up, its fine by me. Hell, keeps this thread at the top us using as we are :D

I do like Douglas Adams, too bad he died. I read Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy a few years ago... hmmm, probably close to 10 years ago... I feel old.

I was the geeky kid in school, who actually LIKED reading time in school.

I was too and then I got into all sorts of other stuff with school. Oh, and computer games. Stupid Dragonrealms stripped me of my youth!

It's a shame Adams is gone, I agree. You should read "Salmon of Doubt" if you already haven't. It's a collection of his uncompleted works done in his memory.

Ah, dragonrealms...heh. I did see "Salmon of Doubt" on the shelves at the bookstore, but I hadn't cash to pick it up at teh time. I will do so next time I'm out. Computer games, I was a HUGE D&D 2nd gen player, I did all the dumb ones too, Magic, L5R. But HS saved me.

A fellow geek. :D

Anyway, I'm off to take a nap. I have to get up in 2 hours and get ready for class. Lovely. Looks like I'll be making a stop at Dunkin Donuts for sure.

Have a good night! :rose:

Yes, I am, good to meet someone with similar interests and a similar background. Get rested, and feel well. I'm sorry if I kept you up. No, I'm not. :D And enjoy your donut and Coffee flavored Coffee.
