A friend of mine suggested I check out this site, so I started reading the stories and was very intrigued by the stories by Sir Nathan.
Can anyone suggest an author on this site that writes with the same passion?

You might post this in a thread that was recently started in this forum, discussing different authors. Maybe you can find someone with your same interests there as well as giving the thread a little boost.

Here it is.

It's just a suggestion. Other than that, you would be left with the off chance there is someone who shares your same interests in the stories of Sir Nathan, or just using the Literotica story rating system.

Read Palahniuk, Nabokov, Miller, even Anne Rice if you want sex. Most of the writers on here haven't yet mastered describingt sex without sounding repetitive, ridiculous or robotic.

I'm sorry if I sound pedantic...It's not sex, it's the writer's ability to reach into the psyche - a male writer who can write from the female perspective shows a love and appreciation for women that is rare and highly erotic. I thank you for your recommendations (and do Love Anne Rice).

Thanks DVS - I'll give that a try )

Interesting. I love art. What you love is what someone else can't stand and vice versa. It's just endlessly fascinating to me.

Good luck finding other authors here you like. I'm partial to

FF-
Come to think of it, I HAVE read one of NightQueen's stories (Tales from SubSpace) and enjoyed it.
Also, in reading the comments posted on the stories I liked, I was able to find a few other authors.

Yes, art is quite subjective (LOVE Hawthorne, HATE Hemingway)- but get my mind and you've got all of me, you know? As an English teacher, it's often difficult for me to get beyond typos, grammatical errors, redundancy, and, ironically -- vulgarity (lol) enough to let go and enjoy the journey.
Like Felix said, it's tough to find a true literary artist who can develop character, elicit empathy, AND intrigue and excite the reader with a plot that one can immerse herself in.
Thank you for the other recommendations, I think I know what i'll be doing my first week of summer vacay ::insert impish grin::

You might like to check out the Shameless Plug thread at the top of this forum for some ideas. Not sure if any of our stories might appeal, but you are welcome to read them. F wrote some, I wrote some, and a couple were joint efforts. Someone must like them as I just checked for the first time in a couple of years and we still have a few marked with the red H.:D
