You're a Scand too Aaron? I'm of Finnish heritage myself. And the polar bear dips we've heard of. Where you sit in the sauna and then jump into a hole cut into the ice. Brrrr! I don't think I'd ever be gutsy enough to try that. I have done the sauna into the snow thing though.

I've noticed that too, Sammy! Seems like the midwest took the brunt of this last cold snap. Alaska's been a bit warmer several of the times I've checked.

It is soooooo cold here the last few days, I've avoided using my hot tub! NOW THATS COLD!!! B u t.....it's only 3 below zero tonight, so I'm on my way out right now!!!! Any takers??? (Its nice in the tub....just sucks to have to run back in the house!)

Want a real rush? Sometimes us Scandanavian folk will roll in the snow and then dive back in the tub. Now THAT'll wake you up in the morning!
