Hi Evolone.... like others who've wandered in for a look I didn't have any idea what this society was, so I went looking and thought I'd post this snippet off the website for the next Lit Citizen who finds their way in here. Have a great weekend :rose:

The SCA is an international organization dedicated to researching and re-creating the arts and skills of pre-17th-century Europe. Our "Known World" consists of 17 kingdoms, with over 30,000 members residing in countries around the world. Members, dressed in clothing of the Middle Ages and Renaissance, attend events which may feature tournaments, arts exhibits, classes, workshops, dancing, feasts, and more.

thank you for posting that info Kiss me...
as i was not quite on the ball enough to do so when i started the thread...
thanks again and have a great weekend yourself... :D

I'am (10Yrs.) but the authenticityNazis... er, Mavens, all of whom know nothing of what thier talking about are finally driving me to want to tear up my blue card and not be a part of "The Dream" ( a phrase soon to be trademarked by SCA inc.)

sorry to here that Hef...but my favorite way to deal with that particular unpleasantness is smile, nod, and laugh at them when they leave.....anyway please don't let people who have lost track of the fact that it is a game ruin your enjoyment of it...
