I'm trying to burn a cd (which I have done many times and have never had a problem). But one file will not work. It says that it is not a valid audio file. But it is! It's an mp3 just like all of the other files. So does anyone know how to fix this?

I'm using Easy CD Creator (it came with my computer)

ok ive never tried to burn a music cd ... so im in danger of sounding stupid :)

but if your trying to burn it as a music track i think it has to be a wav file ... you can convert mp3 into wav files

yes standard stereo equipment etc. cannot read mp3 format.
the newest version of easy cd creator does change from mp3 to wave all by itself.

Open it with your MP3 player, then Save As: and pick MP3 again. I know it sounds stupid, but sometimes it works. If it doesn't change it to Save as: Wav. EZ CD will recognize it as a wav and just transfer it over.

Gotta run now, many more people require my services you know. I'm a popular motherfucka.

Well I've burned MP3's before, I think all of the cds I've burned were MP3. But I'm going to try changing it.

Ok, how else can I change it. In my MP3 player (Winamp) it won't let me save as (or even save).

Ok, I finally got! I tried MusicMatch Jukebox and converted it to a wav, that didn't work, so then I tried WMP (Windows Media Player) and it worked! Finally!! Thanks for helping me everyone!:D

hehe thats ok sounds like you figured it out all on your own though anyway :)

Not really, I wouldn't have known to covert it without your help!
