Any ideas

I think faster than i type so i tend to make mistakes. I often go abck after each page or several paras to proffread, yet i make many mistakes that are not caught by spell check. Any ideas other than keeping it aside and coming back to it?

Here's an idea: get an editor. You can do your own proofreads, then send the story to an editor to have them look it over. It makes a world of difference, trust me.

As a well-known editor might put it:

Er ... not quite. It was inevitable not compulsory. Perhaps you should try rewording that as "Sorry, some one was sure to say it."

Few ideas off the top of my head:

Type faster.

Think slower.

Get a voice-to-type program.

Outline and sketch your ideas, then come back and actually write it when you are calm and collected.

Read it aloud to yourself once the writing frenzy has subsided (preferable if you print it out, so you can see the hardcopy).

Jog around the block a few times until the speed wears off.
